It's a new day! It's a new time for our Council! We are ready to welcome a group of new members with a process that will bring the new members in at the third degree. It is also a new era of transparency where the process is no longer secret.
Here's the hot scoop from our Worthy Grand Knight, Chuck Goldsmith:
Gentlemen, Our council “Sir Michael Fitzgerald” Council 5221 is so excited about you becoming members into this great fraternal organization. As you know we have a responsibility as men to protect and serve our faith group and any others in their time of need. You will find it most rewarding and each of you have your own specialties that make you so valuable. The Knights of Columbus are no longer a secret organization. Our exemplification is open to family and friends and we encourage you to involve your family in this great day. Your Exemplification is scheduled for Saturday March 7th at 3:pm in the Phelan Hall. Please arrive 30 minutes early. The dress code is slacks and a polo shirt. Immediately following the ceremony, you will be fully exemplified as a 3rd degree Knight. Following the ceremony and photos we will be serving hotdogs and hamburgers and drinks to all in attendance so that we may meet each other and get to know each other as brothers in our faith. Please confirm you will be in attendance and guests so that we know how much food and drink to prepare for? Additionally, please provide your spouse’s name so that we can order them name tags. Again, I am so proud you have made this big decision. It is one you will never regret. I have prayed for this moment and God has answered by bringing your to our Council!
